Overview

Donggeul Donggeul Haerongi is a Korean-made game based on the Japanese manga Hero-Hero-kun, which recounts the adventures of elementary school students in the fictional town Uki-Uki. The player controls the main protagonist (called Haerong in Korean) and guides him through left-to-right scrolling 2D levels, defeating enemies on the way. The gameplay concept is very similar to the first Wonder Boy. The protagonist's health bar is being gradually reduced, and he has to eat fruits scattered through the stages to survive. Power-ups include hidden worms that Haerong can throw at enemies, and well as a scooter, which functions like Wonder Boy's skateboard. Haerong can also become temporarily invincible by turning into a muscular adult version of himself. A two-player splitscreen mode is available as well.
