Space Castle

Space Castle for the TRS-80 is a clone of the coin-op arcade game Star Castle. As in the original arcade game you control a ship firing projectiles at the central core on the screen protected by spinning rings.

In Cornsoft’s version you are trying to save the Andromeda Galaxy from the Space Castle and evil warlord Yugdab. You must exhibit skill in piloting your ship while destroying the defense rings, avoiding intelligent mines and space canon. Only when the ring defenses are removed for a shot directly to the core will the Space Castle be destroyed. The game supports both keyboard and joystick input.
