Overview

Tuesday Morning Quarterback is an American football simulator which allows 1-player versus computer of 2-player games. The player can choose from 30 separate National Football League teams, each with their individual strengths and weaknesses. Games start with a coin toss, followed by the kick-off. Field goals and kick-offs take place via special mini-games. In a field goal, a small bar rapidly slides across the bottom of the screen, and the player must align the football and the field goal. The player has an option to practice both mini-games. After kick-off, the games switches to an overhead view where the player selects which type of play they will issue. After that, plays occur automatically with text output of the action. The game simulates penalties and player injuries, and follows traditional American football rules for 4 quarters.
