Overview
Ganbare! Marine Kun takes place in an underwater setting where the player controls a small submarine named Marine Kun. The goal is to complete timed shooting rounds by hitting objects and sea creatures that appear across the screen.
The player moves a targeting cursor with the joystick and fires using a single button. Each round presents a set of moving targets that must be hit before the timer runs out. Points are awarded for accurate shots. Instead of continuing through levels, the machine rewards performance by dispensing physical medals—small prize tokens that can be collected or exchanged—following the standard structure of Japanese amusement medal games.
