Overview
The "Gold Mine" fruit machine was a classic United Kingdom amusement with prizes (AWP) pub slot machine manufactured by Empire, a prominent brand in the British coin-operated gaming industry during the 1980s and 1990s. This mechanical-reel machine famously operated on a 2p stake with a £2 cash jackpot, featuring gameplay rules identical to its sister clone machine, Rat Race and Star Turn.
