Golden Fire II

Golden Fire II is a competitive board game and a clone of Ataxx, itself a variation of Reversi.

Two opponents fight for control of a 7×7 grid by duplicating and capturing pieces. Each player starts with two pieces on opposite corners of the board. Moving to an adjacent space creates a duplicate piece, while jumping two spaces moves the piece and leaves the original square empty.

Any opposing pieces next to the landing space are converted to the moving player’s color. Play continues until the grid is full or no legal moves remain, with victory going to the player controlling the majority of the board.
