Overview
GuitarFreaks 8thMix is an arcade music rhythm game developed and published by Konami as part of its iconic Bemani series. Initially released in Japanese arcades on 30 August 2002, this specific entry can be linked directly with DrumMania 7thMix to allow cooperative multi-instrument jam sessions for up to three players. A slightly updated cabinet version, known as GuitarFreaks 8thMix & DrumMania 7thMix (Power-Up Version), followed later that year on 29 November 2002.
