Overview

This is an enhanced version of the original Raiden III, which came out in 2005 for arcades and consoles. Raiden III is a scrolling shooter video game. There is not much of a story, since the focus is the gameplay. Essentially, Crystals invaded Earth and you must stop them to save the planet. This version of the game has 20 new background tracks, which Game Center Mikado produced. Artists who contributed include GoSatoBan, Heavy Metal Raiden, Fantom Iris, O.T.K., Soshi Hosoi, Keishi Yonao, and more. There is a lot of customization so that you can play each stage to your unique aesthetic; aside from choosing the background music, you can also change the wallpaper. There are also different game mods such as Score Attack Mode and Boss Rush Mode. As well, you can upload replays to easily share your matches. For the more competitive, there will also be online rankings.
