Escape Zone

Escape Zone is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80.

Escape from alien territory. The player controls a small ship that moves laterally on the bottom of the screen and fires straight ahead. The player flied through a series of caverns through 6 distinct zones trying to escape alien attack. Firing the laser requires energy, and the player must pick up energy pods (without shooting them) to restore their fire power. The player starts with 10 shield units, and if these are lost the ship is destroyed. Extra shields can be acquired during game play.
