Overview
Hawk Fire is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari. Grotesque fowl, with a taste for blood, gather in ominous numbers and attack the land of men. Swiftly they glide and dart through the skies leaving mayhem in their wake. The player controls a character who moves all directions along the ground, and must destroy the hawks and hawkdroids that move laterally across the screen. The player can fire horizontally, or shoot down and bounce their shots back into the sky. The player must avoid fire from the white hawk at the top of the screen and creatures that move along the ground. There are 3 levels of difficulty, and the player starts with 5 lives.
