Pokémon Luminescent Platinum is a ROM hack of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, inspired by Renegade Platinum. It features over 500 Pokémon with rebalanced stats, moves, and abilities, restoring many cut moves and making evolution items more accessible. The Sinnoh region is redesigned with new maps, early access to running shoes, bike, and Pokétch apps, improved graphics, animations, and 60 FPS support. Gameplay adds an optional affection system, toggleable EXP share, shorter egg hatches, and unique items like the Incense Burner. The story follows Renegade Platinum’s narrative with many Legendary and custom Pokémon, while gym and trainer difficulty is increased.
