Overview
Memories Off After Rain is a set of three Japanese romance visual novels developed by KID for the PlayStation 2. They are the sequels to Memories Off and Memories Off 2nd. The game volumes were released for the PlayStation 2 on January 27, 2005. Divided in three parts, the first one takes place in May, where Tomoya interacts with Yue and the rest of the girls. In the second one, Ken keeps his relationship with Hotaru. And in the last one, Tomoya fails his exams and enters on depression but Ken manages to pass. The protagonist of the vol.1 story is Tomoya Mikami, a 3rd grade high-school student. When he was in junior high-school, he had a girlfriend called Ayaka Hidzuki. But after she has been involved in a car accident and passed away, he lost touch with the world and became more confined. During his hard time, Yue Imasaka, his childhood friend, has helped him shake off the depressive mood and lifted his spirits and made him start thinking positively again. The two of them became real close and before realizing, they became a couple. This visual novel if first in the three volume series. About halfway through the game you get to make a choice which takes the story in a certain direction.
