Kankoku Hanafuda Go-Stop

Overview

Kankoku Hanafuda Go-Stop is a digital tabletop arcade game published by Visco Corporation and released in 2001. Meaning "Korean Hanafuda Go-Stop," the game adapts Go-Stop (also known as Godori or Matgo in its two-player variant)—the incredibly popular Korean traditional card game played using Hwatu (flower cards originally derived from Japanese Hanafuda). Because physical arcade cabinets for this game are exceptionally rare outside of East Asia, it is primarily known today in the retro gaming community as a playable ROM emulation via the MAME (Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator) platform.

Players take turns matching cards in their hand with cards on the table based on the 12 months of the year (each represented by a specific flower or plant suit).
