Pachi Para 12: Ooumi to Natsu no Omoide

Overview

PachiPara 12: Ōumi to Natsu no Omoide is one of the many titles in Irem's long-running pachinko simulation series. It features faithful 3D recreations of two pachinko machines made by Sanyo Bussan: CR Ōumi Monogatari M56 and CR Ōumi Monogatari M2. There are two modes available: Tsūjō (normal) mode allows the player to modify a wide range of settings for each machine, while Jissen (battle) mode challenges the player to win as many balls as possible on the default settings with a limited starting pool and time limit. There is also a view mode where the various animations that play on the in-game display can be freely viewed.

The story mode this time is Pachi-Pro Fūunroku 4: Gindama Satsujin Jiken, which introduces a new story set in Showa-era Gindama. The game has been redesigned from the ground up using the Steambot Chronicles engine, and is a murder mystery with a heavy emphasis on investigation. The player can choose either a male or female character, and can freely explore the town on foot, visit pachinko parlors, restaurants, and various shops, go fishing, go on dates, and a variety of other activities. The apartment customization from the previous games has also returned, and there is also a day/night cycle that dictates when shops are open for business.
