Overview
Offender is a 1-player clone of Defender for the TRS-80 CoCo. The player needs to save stranded humans from being abducted by attacking enemy spaceships. They control a ship that can move in all directions, and fires directly forwards. The player plays on a map that scrolls left or right, and loops back on itself. A map at the top of the screen shows the location of alien vessels and humans. Alien vessels attempt to abduct the humans at the bottom of the screen and bring them to the top of the screen. Other alien vessels directly attack the player. The player tries to destroy all enemy vessels before they run out of ships or all humans are abducted.
