Mr. Jaws

Overview

Mr. Jaws is a Jawbreaker II clone for the MSX. The player controls a set of teeth on a Pac-Man-like field that moves horizontally in different layers. The main goal of the game is to eat all the candies and avoid the smiling meatballs. If the player is hit by them, all the teeth in the denture will fall out. However, in the far corners are the Corner Candies. This will briefly change the color of the maze and make it possible for a short time to eat the smiling meatballs and move freely through the field. To get bonus points, the player must grab the candy cane that appears every now and then. Once the screen is clear, the player gets a teeth cleaning and moves on to the next, more difficult level. It is possible to set the speed at the start of the game by pressing the ESC button. The game can also be paused by pressing STOP and HOME to unpause.
