Zoo Tycoon 2: African Adventures

Zoo Tycoon 2: African Adventure is the second expansion pack (after Endangered Species) to Zoo Tycoon 2. The player is now able to introduce his visitors to the natural environment of African animals. The game adds eight biomes, twenty new animal species, new buildings, objects, and gifts (including a desert theme pack).

Players can view the animals in their exotic habitats in Zookeeper, Zoo Guest and Photo Safari modes. The safari experience can be extended by venturing into the zoo on a tour in a new jeep that has optional animal-skin paint jobs. There are new scenarios and challenges awaiting the players in "Africa".

The twenty new animal species include aardvark, barbary ape, caracal, masai giraffe, pygmy hippo, secretary bird, white rhino, wildebeest, and others. The eight new biomes are: alpine, desert, grassland, savannah, scrub, temperate forest, tropical rainforest, and wetlands.
