Overview

Crimson Room is a room escape game, created with Shockwave Flash for web game portals. It is a very short point and click adventure game, where the player has to find clues and items to escape the room. The game starts with a mysterious back story, told through just a short text: - I drank too much last night. - I thought what time it was now. - I felt thirst of the throat. - The bed was different from usual. - Is this a hotel? - No, it does not seem to be a hotel. - I am shut up. - I have to escape. The player can view the four walls of the room, transitioning with a smooth camera pan. The fixed 3D turning animations are similar to The 7Th Guest except with flat polygons instead of a fully textured and ray traced environment. Click in the scene to inspect furniture, open drawers, look behind objects and find items. Every time you find something of interest a short dramatic chime is played. There is an inventory on the right, and the player can select items to use or combine with other items. Find all the parts to assemble a movie projector and find the safe code to escape from the Crimson Room.
