Overview
A Newbery Adventure: A Wrinkle in Time is a multiple choice educational adventure game for young adults. Based upon the young adult novel A Wrinkle in Time, the player attempts to follow the story of thirteen year old Meg Murry, as she and her friends travel to multiple worlds with the assistance of Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which to rescue Meg's missing father Alexander. The player must ultimately travel the planet Camazotz to free their father from the mind control of IT, and combat the evil of the Black Thing. Gameplay consists of a 10-word vocabulary test and a multiple choice adventure game. In the adventure portion, the player has 36 hours to complete the story of A Wrinkle in Time, where each action takes approximately 2 hours. If the player chooses actions that do not correspond to the story of the original novel, they lose time and risk being defeated by the Black Thing.
