Overview

AdVenture Capitalist is a grossing game centered around gaining money from running businesses. The player starts with a lemon stand, which is the only source of income, through running the stands (clicking), they can earn income to hire managers to run that stand for them. With this money, they can run more businesses, upgrading them and generating more revenue. These businesses will eventually, with the aid of managers, run themselves to there is no need to keep clicking. This gives the player a source of revenue which can be re-invested in additional business units. At certain thresholds the player triggers bonuses so, for example, growing from one hundred to two hundred lemonade stands will double the profit being made, or it could double the speed at which the profit is made. Similarly increasing the number of newspapers would have a similar effect but, through advertising could double the profit on lemonade stands or the car wash businesses. Successful businesses attract investors, or 'angels' as they're called in the game. These accumulate during gameplay and when a player reaches a point where their game is not progressing fast enough they cash in their game and start a new one with the angels from the first business carrying over to the second. Each angel carried over means that profits in the new business will accumulate 2% faster so the game picks up speed once again. Repeat the cycle a few times sacrificing all progress made for angels and the in-game thresholds that were seemingly impossible become achievable as instead of dealing with millions and billions of dollars the player is dealing with quadrillions and quintillions and the player even starts to see items costing duotrigintillions (that's a one with ninety-nine zeroes) and more. The player is also able to fund a moon voyage and run businesses on the moon and Mars.These businesses run in parallel to the earth businesses, profits earned in one are not transferable to the other.
