Candy Box

Candy Box is a game of slow progression and discovery. At first the player is confronted with a number counter that keeps going up by one each second indicating how many candies they possess. The player can either eat all the candies they possess or throw them on the ground in sets of ten. If the player possesses enough candy, a candy merchant appears looking to sell the player lollipops and other items for candies. After purchasing the first item from the merchant, the player now has an inventory screen and also now gets to go on quests.

The quests are selected from a drop down menu. The goal of the game is to get through all the quests. In quests, the players avatar continually moves forward automatically fighting any enemies they come across. Besides earning the player candy, quests usually contain an item for the player to get. These items typically either help the player on future quests or open up more options for the player to explore.

Eventually players will be able to buy scrolls and also create potions by using a cauldron amongst doing other activities when they are discovered.
