Overview
World Club Champion Football: Serie A 2001-2002 is the first entry in Sega's World Club Champion Football arcade series, and was released worldwide in 2002. It is based off the Serie A, the top football league in Italy. This initial release of WCCF was the first "trading card game" (TCG) released by Sega, an arcade sub-genre played with physical cards. The player builds a team by collecting and trading specially marked player cards, produced by Panini.
