Overview
Demise is a side-scrolling science-fiction themed shooter. The player controls a spaceship which can move in all directions, and fire horizontally to the right. The player must destroy all enemy hostiles with their laser cannon, and are also equipped with a limited supply of smart bombs which destroy all enemies on the screen. The player can also enter hyperspace to randomly move about the screen if in danger. After defeating all enemies, the player enters a meteor phase, where they must avoid all encroaching space debris. In the third stage, the player must navigate a twisty tunnel, before restarting on a more challenging alien combat phase. The player starts with 5 ships, and is rewarded an additional ship and smart bomb every 10,000 points
