Pokémon Crystal Ultimate

Pokémon Crystal Ultimate is a ROM hack aiming to remaster the original Pokémon Crystal with improved playability, balance, and challenge while preserving the original story and Pokémon. Version 0.8 is playable up to the Elite Four. The hack revises moves, typings, learnsets, base stats, and Pokémon availability, making nearly all Pokémon viable and the game suitable for Nuzlocke challenges. Locations have been expanded with more trainers and items, some Pokémon types and palettes have been adjusted, and type matchups rebalanced. A Classic mode preserves a more traditional experience by removing most stat and type changes. All 251 Pokémon are obtainable through normal play, with Johto Pokémon available before the League, except for legendaries and certain starters/eggs. Numerous quality-of-life improvements, new features, and battle system enhancements are included.
