Overview
Mahjong Chinmoku no Hentai (Japanese: 麻雀沈黙の編隊) is an adult-themed, military-strategy mahjong arcade video game released in May 1990 by the veteran Japanese developer Nichibutsu (Nihon Bussan). Despite what the word "Hentai" traditionally implies in modern Western pop culture, the title actually translates to "Mahjong: Silent Formation", functioning as a direct parody of Kaiji Kawaguchi’s famous submarine anime/manga series Silent Service.
