SPONG

SPONG is a multiplayer top-down Pong variant for the Virtual Boy that supports the link cable. It was written as a rather simple demo project for VUEngine’s multiplayer capabilities.

While the game’s multiplayer code is solid and working nicely, the actual gameplay is rough and unfinished. Due to a shift of priorities, the game was not developed past the initial demo that has rudimentary versions of Marathon Mode (single player) and Versus Mode (multi player) enabled, where, due to the lack of AI, you control both paddles at once in Marathon Mode.
