Overview

A funny, 4 player, comic\action\trading\adventure by Automagick Industries and released by Unicorn. The first release was in 1991 but had updates that continued through to version 2.91 in 1994. Versions were released in both English and German and demo versions as well as the full version from Unicorn. It is the year 1850 and you just got off the ship from the Old World in New York City. Your goal is simple: Become a famous hero. To put it in despicable numbers, this means one million Tier Points - whether we are embarked on a legal or illegal career, buy gold or hunt bears, indulge in a player career or rather fight for law as a deputy, is murmur, glory has many sides. Before the Peacemaker is drawn for the first time, one to four Gunslingers can create their desired character by distributing 99 points on qualities such as wealth, reaction or drinking strength. The necessary (professional) utensils are then available in the New York shop, whereby care must be taken care that you always have a lot of viddles and water with you, because food is not available everywhere. Also, enough coal for the journey must remain inland, and anyone who values discussions with dignitaries (in the multiple choice procedure) is better concerned with new clothes, occasionally takes a bath and should be able to tolerate a sip of the hard stuff on the tongue. Many actions end in small action scenes or tests. Anyone who wants to become an assistant sheriff must prove their shooting skills for bottles, cans and coins; bank robbers should prepare for a duel with the law enforcement officer. Fur hunters have to install their traps on a map and later find them without help. All these activities (and many more) then entrusted status points. Anyone who thinks that this is simple will be surprised: Even sheer survival is hard enough not to talk about becoming famous.
