Overview
POD: Gold represents a revived edition of Ubisoft's futuristic racing video game, POD: Planet of Death. Unveiled towards the end of 1997, this updated release incorporated 8 additional vehicles and 16 new race tracks, resulting in a grand total of 16 cars and 32 tracks, respectively. Notable enhancements in this version included various sound effects, notably a completely new engine sound for the vehicles.
