Overview

Zendar is a world-conquest strategy game for the Apple II. The people of Zendar need your help. Our economies are failing and we are under the constant threat of an enemy country on our continent. We, the people of country #7, offer you absolute ruling power over our small for a period of ten years; we only wish we could guarantee you a full reign. Please accept our plea immediately. The player starts with a total of 250 resources, which can be distributed between administrators, military personnel, scientists, engineers, and units of gold. Gameplay occurs on an island map of 8 nations, where the player starts with nation 7, but can interact with any adjacent nation. There are a total of 4 turns per year, with gameplay lasting 10 years in total. The goal is to maximize resources and control of the island during this time frame. The player competes against one larger aggressive nation which also tries to take control of the land. During each turn, the player can wage war against another country, or attempt to annex them for the right price. The player can offer trade alliances between nations, or assign resources from the player's reserves. Games can be saved for a later date.
