Arthur

Overview

The player takes on the role of Arthur, a little ghost whose task is to free his father from prison. This seemingly simple task is made more difficult by the fact that Arthur must find the key to the cell hidden somewhere in the chambers of the huge castle. Many passages are blocked by guards and various mechanisms that require triggering the appropriate switch or using a found object. Arthur can only carry three items at a time. At first, you can't move upwards, because the movement is restricted by an iron ball tied to the soul. Only after finding the file and using it will upward movement be unlocked. The bag of money is useful for bribing the guard located at the exit of the castle. Each of the raised items has its own purpose and you should find a place where you can use it. At the bottom of the screen you will find information about the number of points you have earned, game time, the energy you have, which is replenished after using an item to eat it, and a ghostly head that informs you with gestures whether the item has been used correctly or not. In the lower-left corner of the screen you can see the name of the strangler, which is replaced by control icons when the shot button (N key) is pressed. Computer with the letter Q - exit the game; handle with an up arrow - pick up an item; handle with a down arrow - drop an item; tombstone - end the game; handle with ? - entry to the inventory of owned items; OK - exit the menu; Z - stop the game; fist - use the mechanism. While wandering, you may encounter places and creatures that take life-giving energy, and if its level drops to zero, the soul will hang on the gallows.
