Acornsoft Pacman

Overview

One of the most popular and influential games of the 1980s. Pac-Man is a small yellow eater whose task is to clear the maze of all the dots on the board. From time to time, a fruit will appear in the maze, visible at the top of the screen, giving bonus points after eating it. The task is hindered by four wandering ghosts, with contact with them taking one of the three available lives. Fortunately, to escape from them, you can use a tunnel transferring to the opposite side of the board or eat a large dot giving you a temporary opportunity to devour them for bonus points. During this time, the ghosts turn blue and, after being eaten, their eyes float back to the central box where they regenerate to chase the player again.
