Overview

Countdown is a version of the successful TV words and numbers game adapted for the popular UK home computers. The game includes an in-built dictionary of some 9,000 words and may be played as a one or two player game. The game consists of nine separate rounds of Number and Word (Anagram) games. The aim of the game is to score as many points as you can. It was originally published by Macsen in 1984 with a 1988 re-release by TV Games, a software label of Domark.
