Reverie

Overview

Reverie is a 32-map megawad for Doom II created by Michael Jan Krizik (valkiriforce); with a custom soundtrack created by John Weekley (PRIMEVAL), James Paddock (Jimmy), and Stuart Rynn (stewboy). Each level was designed to be reminiscent of the style of classic mapsets (such as Plutonia, Cleimos 2, Icarus, Memento Mori, Requiem, and so on), with the accompanying text file listing the specific influences for each level.

It is the sequel to Doom Core and was followed by Eternally Yours, and received one of the 2011 Cacowards.

The image used on the titlescreen is of the Oceanside Pier in Oceanside, California, and the name of the font used for the title is Heavy Bevel.
