Doom 2 In Spain Only

Doom 2 in Spain Only (D2ISOv2.wad) is a 32-map vanilla-compatible megawad created primarily by Richard Frei (Tarnsman). The other mappers were Brayden Hart (AD_79), Gus Knezevich (Alfonzo), Justin Kelly (Breezeep), Sarah Mancuso (esselfortium), and James Paddock (Jimmy); AD_79, Alfonzo, and Jimmy also contributed a few bespoke MIDIs. The project's name is a parody of the Doom 2 In Name Only megawad. It was uploaded to the idgames archive on May 16, 2021, and updated on September 10, 2021. It won a Cacoward that year.

This megawad is a spin-off of the Doom the Way id Did series, and it may be considered a Spanish version, in a humourous manner (including some word-for-word translations by Google Translate of the map names, HUD messages, and menu graphics), of Doom II developed by a fictional Chinese company (Trustworthy Software Co.). Their names spoof the ones of some Doom-era id Software employees
