Overview

Amazing Animals: Activity Center is an educational game based on the TV show Amazing Animals. It features five mini games: -Copy Cat is a Simon Says variant with cartoon animals. -Matching Pairs is a Concentration variant with photos of parent and baby animals. -Match the Facts: The player needs to choose the correct animal which fits the given facts. -Pixelator: A picture of an animal is shown in pixelated form and the player needs to choose the correct animal. -Photo Safari: The player receives a mission to photograph a certain kind of animal, e.g. plant-eaters. Animals show their head from the bushes and if it fits the bill, the player moves the mouse cursor over it and clicks. Correct animals give points, wrong animals give negative points and cartoon animals give bonus points. -Scrambler: A picture of an animal is scrambles into multiple parts. The player needs to reassemble it by switching the tiles. -Every time a task is finished and a certain condition is met, e.g. a number of points by working fast and without mistakes, the player can optionally participate in a quiz. If the multiple-choice question is answered correctly, a sticker for the encyclopedia is rewarded. In addition there are a four non-game sections: -Amazing Animal Expert: An animal encyclopedia. -Amazing Masks: Players can save animal masks to disk in order to print them and make actual masks. -Animal Movies: A collection of 30 video clips. -Stationary Folder: Creating postcards, business cards, etc. with animal pictures.
