Overview

Toy Story Activity Center is an educational and entertaining title, not to be confused with the other Toy Story title, the Animated Storybook. The hybrid CD-ROM features many classic mini-games such as Five-In-A-Row, or a memory challenging game a la Simon Says, with 4 green aliens popping up out of boxes or a math card game with an Etch-A-Sketch. Other mini-games include a Code Breaker, and, in order stimulate creativity, a music activity aka Sid's Sonic Boom Box and a build-your-own-monster activity. The icon-driven interface, at the lower-right corner of each screen is quite simple. e.g. numbers 1 to 3 let kids choose from one of the three levels of difficulty, and the printer icon is self-explanatory. Needless to say, many video clips from the film are available.
