Overview
Meteoroids is a rare, wide-release upright arcade video game released in 1981 by the American company Venture Line. It is a multi-directional shooter heavily based on Atari's legendary title, Asteroids. The game is historically significant because of its direct ties to a landmark legal battle that helped shape video game copyright laws.
