Overview
The NCAA Basketball arcade machine refers to a dedicated version of the game released for the Nintendo Super System (NSS).
Introduced by Nintendo in 1991–1992, the Nintendo Super System was an official arcade cabinet that allowed players to play modified versions of Super Nintendo (SNES) games in an arcade setting. Instead of buying a completely separate arcade hardware build, arcade operators could purchase NSS Arcade Game Cartridges (which physically differ from standard home SNES cartridges) to swap games in and out of the multi-slot cabinet.
