Print Club 2 '98 Autumn Ver

Overview

Print Club 2 '98 Autumn Ver (released in August 1998) is a seasonal software variant of the wildly popular "Purikura" photo booth arcade machine series. Developed as a joint venture between Atlus and Sega Enterprises, the original Print Club line essentially invented the modern photo-sticker booth subculture that became an iconic staple of 1990s Japanese arcade culture.

As an "Autumn" edition, this version introduced exclusive, limited-time fall-themed photo frames, stamps, and borders for players to decorate their selfies. Like other iterations of Print Club 2, the interface prominently featured Jack Frost, the iconic mascot of Atlus's Megami Tensei video game franchise. While these machines dominated Asian markets, they remained a rare novelty in Western arcades, where the concept initially struggled to achieve the same mainstream traction.
