Overview

Samurai Samurai Nihon-Ichi was produced Kaneko in 1984. The game was published by Taito in Japan and Magic Electronics for the North American market. Guide a Samurai through waves of on-coming foes, including other Samurais, knife-throwing birds and vicious tigers. End-of-level bosses provide more challenging sword play. Guide a Samurai through waves of on-coming enemies. Use your Samurai blade to eliminate your foes. Push up to jump, down to crouch and left or right to move. Press the overhand button to swing your sword downwards or press underhand to slash upwards. Depending upon the enemy that attacks, different swords motions work better. Vary your speed of travel as you play the game, otherwise the flying birds will hit you with the knives that they throw. Jump up and slash the birds as soon as they appear or parry and duck under their darts. Defeat the end bosses as quickly as possible for a larger bonus. This game is also known as Samurai Magic.
