Overview
SAR: Search and Rescue is an action arcade game released by SNK in 1989. Similar to SNK's own Ikari Warriors and Guerrilla War, the game is a top-down run and gun with the players progressing vertically through a variety of levels. The game's heroes must investigate the disappearance of an exploratory ship on an alien world, while shooting alien monsters, navigating the high corridors, and picking up special weapons along the way.
