Overview
Side by Side 2 (originally released in Japan as Side by Side 2 Evoluzione) is a classic 3D arcade racing game developed and published by Taito in May 1997. Powered by the Taito JC System arcade hardware, it is heavily inspired by early Initial D culture and the Japanese mountain pass (touge) drifting scene.
The core gameplay focuses on drifting downhill through challenging Japanese mountain passes featuring tight switchback turns.
