Sinistar

Sinistar is a multidirectional scrolling shooter in which the player pilots a spacecraft through an asteroid field while enemy Workers construct the title creature. The ship can move freely in any direction and is equipped with lasers and a limited supply of homing Sinibombs. A scanner shows the locations of nearby planetoids, enemies, and Sinistar.

Firing repeatedly at a planetoid releases Sinisite crystals, which are collected and converted into Sinibombs. Maintaining a steady barrage produces additional crystals, but firing too rapidly may destroy the planetoid. Workers compete for the same crystals and carry them away to assemble Sinistar, while faster Warrior ships protect them and attack the player.
