Hresvelgr: The year is 2040 but man's need for speed remains as thirsty as ever. Racing takes flight with futuristic airships that skim the air at sonic speeds. To help abet your finish line ambitions, a couple of cannons and other weapons are at your disposal to knock an opponent's speed down or bump him from the course. The design of the racing tracks range from natural terrain to modern raceways complete with tunnels and overpasses. A selection of weapons is at the ready to help knock fellow racers from the tracks or generally impede their progress. Released only in Japan, the game was rereleased six months later with various fixes and additions as Hresvelgr: International Edition -- which was then picked up by Ubisoft for the European market and published as Jet-Ion GP. In the International Upgrade of Hresvelr, the gameplay is improved somewhat over the original release with the ability to set the level of sensitivity that your Dual Shock imparts to the motion of your ship.
