Taking inspirations from Star Trek, this game has the player take the role of a ship captain on a voyage to protection the local Federation and eliminate the Klingon Horde.

Missions mainly consist of a set number of Klingon warships to destroy at particular quadrants within a limited Stardate time. The bridge of the titular ship displays a console made up of five instruments and a command menu, which is used to progress through the mission. Five additional tools can be accessed from the Computer menu for more information. Careful decisions need to be made to get around the galaxy and destroy all Klingons.
