Euro Round-Up: Czech Republic

Overview

A football manager game which was due out for the Commodore Amiga 1200 in 2000/2001. The game was being created by the Barczyński brothers, and was written in AMOS. Euro Round-Up: Czech Republic was the first of several management games planned by Frey United Software, which would simulate European football – all games would utilize the same interface and style. This particular development would focus on Czech Republic and its teams.

The creators were heavily inspired by the original Championship Manager, with each release concentrating on a single country, and trying to simulate the internal structures of their football leagues.

Apart from Czech leagues in this particular title, there would be a snapshot of other domestic leagues from around Europe – where you could take part in international competitions, have options to improve the stadium, send scouts abroad and buy players directly from those clubs.
