2000 Guineas

The 2000 Guineas arcade machine is a rare, vintage electro-mechanical horse racing betting game manufactured by Whittaker Bros. in the United Kingdom. Named after the famous British flat horse race, it is highly regarded by collectors of classic British coin-operated and penny arcade memorabilia.

The game features a classic green field layout with six lanes where toy horses move along physical tracks or guide rails.

It is famous for a constant, distinctive computer-speech voice that shouts, "Place your bets now please!" to attract players.

Designed primarily as a casino or trade-stimulator amusement game, players select their horse and place a coin (historically configured for old UK denominations like 2p or 10p play).
