Overview
Memories Off After Rain is a set of three Japanese romance visual novels developed by KID for the PlayStation 2. They are the sequels to Memories Off and Memories Off 2nd. The game volumes were released for the PlayStation 2 on January 27, 2005. Divided in three parts, the first one takes place in May, where Tomoya interacts with Yue and the rest of the girls. In the second one, Ken keeps his relationship with Hotaru. And in the last one, Tomoya fails his exams and enters on depression but Ken manages to pass. Song birds twitter and warble about the arrival of spring and high school seniors start to prepare for graduation. As the third volume of Memories Off After Rain starts, two students are conflicted - Takeshi is an ace student but finds little joy in school and wonders if college is in the cards. Satoru on the other hand has failed the college entrance exams a few times and prospects are looking dim. Can the two students find each other and help the other reach graduation day with brighter prospects/attitudes/outlooks? Final chapter in the After Rain trilogy. The story continues on the previous two games, but this times features two protagonists. One scenario follows the story of Tomoya from first volume, and the other follow's Ken's story as the graduation time approaches. The story tells the events around the time of graduation, their passing and/or failing to graduate, and the paths they take in comparison to that of their girlfriends. The gameplay remains similar to the first two volumes in the trilogy.
