Overview

Skoki Narciarskie 2006 (Spring Winter 2006) is the last instalment of the Dobra Gra series, video games about ski jumping released mainly in Poland between 2002 and 2006. Like in the previous title, the player uses the mouse to hold indicators in proper locations before the take-off, both mouse buttons to perform a take-off, the mouse is moved to control ski jumper in air and finally both mouse buttons are used to land.

The game contains most of ski jumping hills used in season 2006 of the Ski Jumping World Cup and its variants (for example, the game contains Bischofshofen normal hill K-125 which is featured in season 2006, but also K-65 hill which is not featured in that season).

There are several modes with Career mode as main one, divided into "Solo mode" and "Coach mode". In "Solo mode", the player can choose whether to start as an adult or go through junior ski jumping championship and when achieving success, move up in hierarchy of national team squad, to C, B and the main A team. In "Coach mode", the player has to take care of accommodation and transport of the team to events during the season. There is also a possibility to train ski jumpers, talk to the press and find sponsors. Local, hot seat multiplayer is supported.
