Super Game III

Overview

The Super Game III is a bootleg multi-game arcade system released in 1992 by the South Korean company Seo Jin.

Similar to Nintendo’s official PlayChoice-10 arcade cabinets, it allowed players to select from a menu of console games and play them for a limited time per coin.

The system contained 15 pirated Famicom games. To obscure their bootleg nature, many of these titles featured modified color palettes, edited text, or altered title logos. These included classics and heavily edited variants like:

• Super Mario Bros. 3

• Super Mary (a bootleg edit of Super Mario Bros.)

• King Kong (a hack of Donkey Kong Jr.)

• Gorilla 3

• Popular arcade-to-home ports like Bomberman, Pac-Man, Galaga, Excitebike, and Mappy.
